The folks at Anatomicals have kindly sent me the rest of the Australian range since I liked the first set so much. Again, I haven’t been paid to say nice things, I am genuinely really impressed with this range! Sassy names, colourful packaging, delicious scents and skin-friendly ingredients – I am totally their target market.

My previous review of the Anatomicals range lives here – here are some more!

Body

I really liked the Not a Dry Thigh in the House Lilac Body Lotion for being lightweight and non-greasy, and the other two in the range are the same, but with even better scents! Not Another Rough Day Please is a no-nonsense vanilla, while Bye-Bye Miss American Dry is a delicious and non-Panadolly cherry.

The Buff Stuff Citrus Body Scrub is a microbead-free scrub (it uses pumice instead), very similar to The Seven Deadly Skins, which is melon scented. It’s rough enough to satisfy anyone’s buffing urges, but it’s also capable of being used gently if you don’t press hard. I personally prefer the fragrance of the melon version.

Soaps

There are a couple more hand soaps with names I love – Silly Twits Ignore Their Mitts is peppermint and lemon scented, while Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On is citrus. The body cleansers come in the same convenient square pump bottle. I found New York, London, Paris and Foam a bit too sugary for my liking, but these three are anything but. Could We Be Any More Pacific? is an aquatic scented gel that smells like a men’s fragrance, while Shower to the People (with a cartoon of Che Guevara showering on the side, for anyone who’s collecting bizarre Che Guevara appearances) is a refreshing grapefruit and lemongrass scent. My favourite though, has to be 100% Not Chanel, But Cocoa All the Same, which smells authentically like chocolate. And if you mix Silly Twits with 100% Not Chanel, you end up with the most amazing choc mint scented shower gel. It’s been my shower gel combo since I got these! The cleansers are foamy but don’t leave your skin feeling stripped.

Hands

There are two extra hand creams in the collection too. The Cream of British Society smells of tea, while Help the Paw is fruity. These aren’t very moisturising, but they’re also very non-greasy. If you’re looking for intense hydration you should look elsewhere, but if your hands just need a little bit of moisture during the day these are great.

I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again – I love this range! It’s fun and afforable, well formulated and all the products smell amazing. I’m a big fan! I’m hoping they’ll bring more categories of products to Australia soon – overseas, the range includes other products like shampoo, lip balms, hand sanitiser and foot cream.
