I've been trying out a new cream recently - Jeunesse Luminesce Daily Moisturising Complex. This is a lightly scented day cream that claims to have anti-wrinkle effects by stimulating the production of collagen and elastin (proteins which are more abundant in young, plump skin) using a patented formula. While I'm too young to really notice this effect, what really intrigued me was that this cream is SPF 30, and claims to "absorb instantly" and be "non-greasy" - really now?
As it turns out - yes, really! It glides on and sinks in smoothly, and plumps the skin immediately. It's nice and non-greasy, and sits nicely under my BB cream (SPF30+ of course - can't get too careful about sun protection!). It's so great to have a sunscreen with sun protection that suits my skin type! Unfortunately there's no info on UVA protection, but that's the case with pretty much all face cream at the moment - I can't wait till it's standard practice.
The only real criticism I have about this cream is that the twist-up pump dispenser doesn't click open, so it's a bit tricky to squeeze it out. Otherwise, though it's a bit on the pricey side (especially on my current student budget), this is going to be my go-to day cream.
