Hello lovely readers! Today I have something special for you - Trilogy are generously giving away 2 packs of Trilogy products to my readers!
Trilogy is an award-winning skincare brand from Australia, and produce "Natural Skincare That Works". They also aim to be ethically and environmentally responsible - always a winner in my books! They're responsible for a lot of the well-deserved hype around rosehip oil, with many products incorporating some of the liquid skincare gold.
The prize packs contain:
Face Care Vital Moisturising Cream - lightweight cream, packed with rosehip and evening primrose oils and other plant goodies. It absorbs quickly and helps maintain healthy skin.
Everything Balm - this balm works for, well, everything! Cuticles, dry skin, lips, massage oil... it contains lots of great ingredients such as rosehip oil, honey, coconut oil and evening primrose oil. One of my coworkers kept this religiously on her lab desk to counteract the horrible dry lab hands you get from washing your hands too much.
Face Care Cream Cleanser - Super gentle cleanser that cleans without drying and leaves skin soft and smooth.
That's a total value of over $100!
How to enter (Check me out, avoiding Rafflecopter!)
Make sure you're a GFC follower (widget to the right)
1. For one entry, leave me a comment telling me about your skincare and/or beauty HGs (that's holy grails, for the unintiated). Make sure you include your email so I can contact you if you win!
Additional entries:
2. If you follow me on Instagram, you can take a photo of some of your skincare/beauty HG products and post it on Instagram. Make sure you tag me (@labmuffin) so I can see it, and link back to this post.
3. If you follow me on Twitter, you can tweet about the giveaway - again, tag me (@labmuffin) to make sure I see it, and link to this post.
Entries close 11th October, and I'll randomly select two winners out of the valid entries. Unfortunately this giveaway is for Australian readers only. So, Aussies looking for great skincare - what are you waiting for? :)
Edit: Trilogy's Rosehip Oil Antioxidant+ just made it onto the Harper’s Bazaar Beauty Hot 100 this year - the third year in a row. It's great to see an Aussie brand doing so well overseas!

Oh this is exciting! I've always wanted to try Trilogy's skincare range! My skincare HG's are rosehip oil and my clarisonic and for body-skincare I'm really loving Lush's Ro's Argan Body Conditioner.
ReplyDeleteMy email is: whereismymind92@live.com.au!
xx
Great picks! I've been meaning to try a Clarisonic and I've heard so many good things about that Lush cream. Good luck!
DeleteOoh look only two people so far, that means Michaela and I will both win right?! Lol. This brand is new to me although I may have seen it around in Priceline?! Hmm. I love my Bio Oil and I'm currently using Clinique 3-step for acne prone skin.

<3!
Haha! I think I was meant to get a sample of the 3-step Clinique stuff but I never received it :(
DeleteHow awesome of Trilogy to sponser this amazing giveaway! I still don't have the perfect skincare regime but do love the Trilogy Everything Balm which I mainly use on my hands
ReplyDeleteemail: kwiggins30@hotmail.com.au
It's really great of them :) Good luck!

ReplyDeleteemail: qwerty_19@hotmail.com
Yummy body butters are the best! :)
DeleteOoooh, what a great prize! I use Lush Angels on Bare Skin, Fresh Pharmacy and Celestial. Not sure that they're my HGs but they are the best facial products i've used. CND Solar oil on the other hand.... ❤
ReplyDeleteemail: jul92@optusnet.com.au
I love Angels but I haven't tried the other two yet. Good luck! :)
DeleteThis brand is totally new to me. I actually never heard of them before :/
ReplyDeleteMy daily skincare regime consists of a cleanser and moisturizer from The Body Shop's Seaweed range. It really does help my skin stay matte :)
Oops! My email is louanne(dot)f86(at)gmail(dot)com
Delete*fingers crossed*
How exciting! I couldn't live without Lucas Paw Paw Ointment, I love it for my lips, dry skin and break outs. I also love Vitamin E capsules for spot treatment :)
ReplyDeletepepsi_rica@hotmail.com
I've never tried vitamin E for spot treatment - do you use it for dry spots or pimples?
DeleteGood luck! :)
What an awesome comp! I've not heard of this brand before either but from your descriptions they sound awesome. I'm currently using a cleanser and lotion from Mischa, and this rice based moisturiser my friend got me from Korea.
ReplyDeleteamandaephu@gmail.com
I love Missha - I use their BB cream, but I really need to try out more of their products! Good luck :)
DeleteI keep meaning to try the Everything Balm, it sounds like it should replace all my products on my bedside table for overnight fixes. My HG products have to be Lush Ultrabland for cleansing my skin and Rosehip Oil for reviving dry, tired skin and sad looking cuticles.
ReplyDeleteMy email is jen@thenailpolishproject.com
I'm loving Everything Balm! It's fixed my cuticles right up! :)
DeleteGood luck!
great swap!

I've never heard of that brand, but I'll have to look out for them now! Good luck :)
DeleteMy HG's are Rosehip oil and a good natural cleanser. I have very sensitive skin and my skin has been so much better since switching to mostly natural skincare products.
ReplyDeletec.butterskerr@gmail.com
Sensitive skin can be very tricky! Good luck :)
DeleteMy HG product is Fresh Farmacy from Lush, the bets cleanser in the whole world. Gets all the gunk out of your skin. :)
ReplyDeletea_cat48@hotmail.com
I've never tried that, but I'm a big fan of Angels on Bare Skin! I'll have to ask for a sample next time I'm there...
DeleteGood luck :)
My HG at the moment is CeraVe with SPF30 in the AM and Physicians Formula AntiAging cream in the PM. I wash my fash Goat's Milk Soap! Thanks for the Giveaway!
ReplyDeletesbsdot1956@yahoodotcom
Those sound like great gentle skincare choices. Good luck!
DeleteAwesome giveaway!
ReplyDeleteI am currently using Jurlique products. I am trying to use them all up so i can change onto something else. I have never heard of this brand before so i may check them out.
kelly@kellyskolors.com
My mum's a big Jurlique fan! :) Good luck!
DeleteHG 1. Rosehip Oil (awesome)
ReplyDeleteHG 2. QV Body Wash (basic but great)
HG 3. Lucas Paw Paw (also doubles as a FIX ALL for the kidlets!)
Thanks for the giveaway Michelle.
nikki3393(at)gmail(dot)com
Rose hip oil and Paw Paw have been pretty popular here! Good luck :)
DeleteI'm still looking for my skincare holy grails. You'd think that being as old as I am I would have found it by now but no...so I'm always open to trying new things!
ReplyDeletenailgirl73.rr@gmail.com
I have a lot of blank spaces where I need a HG - at the moment I'm searching for a winter night cream, but at least I can let that rest for 6 months or so now. Good luck! :)
DeleteWoo, Aussie specific stuff.
ReplyDeleteSkin care: I have acne-prone skin (still!) so one of my HGs is Benzac 2.5% benzoyl peroxide cream. I don't have a face moisturiser I love (the Trilogy Vital Moisturising Cream looks good, I should try it). I love the Natio Wellness line for shower gel and light body lotion because it smells beautiful and clean, and is an Australian and cruelty-free brand.
I don't use much makeup, so I'll give a nail polish HG: Natio's "dazzling lilac", such a beautiful colour and actually pretty much opaque in one medium coat!
Jo, tuxecat@gmail.com
I love BP, I went nuts with it back in 2006 and it cleared my skin up good! I'll look out for that Natio polish. Good luck! :)
DeleteAt the moment I'm loving my Clarisonic Mia and Alpha-H Liquid Gold! I'd love to try out these Triology products - my email is kimberleyjgriffiths@gmail.com
ReplyDeleteI've been thinking about investing in a Clarisonic! Good luck :)
DeleteJust realised that if I comment as Anon you won't be able to confirm that I'm a GFC follower so I'm commenting again under my Google account - I'm the Jo above.
ReplyDeletePS: I only recently found your blog but I love that there's someone out there combinging skin care and nails with science and with an Aussie focus!
Gotcha ;) Thanks!
DeleteMy current skincare HG items and the reasons why:
ReplyDelete1. Yes to Cucumbers Soothing Daily Gentle Cleanser
It doesn't irritate my skin but still manages to remove grime and clear up pimples. It brightens my face and exfoliates too, leaving my skin feeling smooth and bright, but not dry. It also has a fresh green scent!
2. A'kin Lavender Cellular Brightening Facial Mist:
When I'm feeling too lazy to do a full nighttime skincare routine I use this after cleansing. It takes 2 seconds to mist onto your face and really seems to increase the elasticity of my skin, and also brightens it up.
Those sound lovely! Good luck! :)
DeleteI'd love to try this trilogy stuff :)
ReplyDeleteMy skincare HGs are my clarisonic mia, Alpha H liquid gold, and my origins drink up intensive overnight mask
My email is ejath@optusnet.com.au
Those first two are popular choices, good luck! :)
DeleteHmm, I think I have to go with Cetaphil for this. I've tried so many different brands to moisturise my skin but I always go back to Cetaphil. I'm still on the hunt for a good eye cream though, my eye area dries out really easily.
ReplyDeleteCetaphil unfortunately leaves me shiny! Good luck :)
DeleteFor me my secret is clarisonic + olive oil.
ReplyDeleteI follow you on GFC as Maria Oller

connymoore(at)hotmail(dot)com
Everyone's saying Clarisonic! I should really try it out, if only I could remember when I'm out shopping! Good luck :)
DeleteHello! My HGs are Jurlique's Herbal Recovery Gel and Balancing Face Oil. I have dry skin, so those two are absolutely essential for me! Would be very excited to try out the Trilogy products listed because they seem to be suited to problems with dry skin.
ReplyDeleteFingers crossed! xx
E: messingaroundinboats@gmail.com
Jurlique are doing pretty well here, good luck! :)
DeleteOh yeah, and I'm on GFC with the same username as my email: messingaroundinboats. xx
DeleteI have pretty sensitive skin which is prone to psoriasis and redness, so I've had a lot of trouble finding products which are suitable.
ReplyDeleteMine are:
Nature's Quest Facial Moisturiser (has lavender and calendula oil, smells lovely and absorbs quickly).
Enzoskin's Coffee and Cream moisturiser - it smells exactly as it sounds and is a great nourishing moisturiser for the colder months when you need the extra moisture. They also allow you to choose specific ingredients you want added, according to your skin issues/type.

I've been using Paula Begoun's (Paula's Choice brand) toner, moisturiser, AHA exfoliant, facial serum & mask for about a year now, and love them. I like that she doesn't include any of the natural ingredients that can actually be irritating to skin, e.g. many of the essential oils, and also the fact that they are unfragranced as fragrance is another potential irritant. I've actually learnt quite a bit about what to look for in skin products from her, & this is the first time I've ever had a whole skincare regime from just the one brand.
ReplyDeleteMy other HG beauty product is sunscreen. Sun damage is the #1 cause of ageing skin (and not to mention skin cancer) so I always use an SPF 30+ sunscreen on my face every day.
Palmers is another fave brand & I use quite a few of their products.
