Hey hey! It's Artsy Wednesday again! This time the theme is blue nails, and here's what my design looks like in the sun:
I first painted my nails with ulta3 Blue Marlin (medium blue creme) on the right, and a franken I made from Spring Shower and a few drops of black on the left. Then I taped a zigzag and painted it with China Glaze DV8, a gorgeous teal linear holo which the lovely Alanna from Pretty Purple Polish bought for me :) I finished with a coat of Poshe topcoat. This looks great! :) DV8 is sooo pretty! Can't wait to use it. I swatched my Ulta3's Cocoa was a surprise favourite for me.

ReplyDeleteI was surprised by how well the holo effect turned out, I was worried that the zigzag would be too small to see the rainbow, but it worked out :)

ReplyDeleteIt's a lot simpler than you'd think! Just make sure the bottom layer is dry, there aren't any gaps in the bits stuck down, and you peel off the tape quickly - that's it!
