I'M SO EXCITED ABOUT THESE. I think I can safely say these are my greatest achievement in nail design so far.
OUTER. SPACE. NAILS.
They basically look like what turns up when you do an image search for "outer space". Stars and galaxies.
I have to give a lot of credit to Cat from More Nail Polish for both sending me Spectraflair and reigniting my love of flakies. I was thisclose to throwing out Wild when I came across this post.
Recipe:
2 layers ulta3 Black Satin (black creme)
2 layers translucent black Spectraflair franken
1 layer ulta3 Wild (blue chunky flaky mica, super old polish)
LOVE the look! <3 I need flakies to make a comeback asap.

ReplyDeleteI think I bought my bottle of Wild when I was obsessed with mica after a particularly exciting year 8 geology class... so about 12 years ago! It was incredibly gloopy though, I've diluted it a bit with ethyl acetate but it's still fiddly to apply - hopefully ulta3 will bring some back soon!
